Set up Script Pro in 2 minutes

Install the app, activate it, add a free Google Gemini key and run your first video. Script Pro writes with your own AI keys, so there is no AI subscription to buy from us.

Step 1

Install and activate

  1. Download and install. Use the Download button on your order page or the link in your purchase email, then run the installer. Windows 10 or 11. Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen the first time, because the app is new and not yet code-signed. Click More info, then Run anyway. This is normal for new desktop apps.
  2. Open Script Pro. Start it from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut.
  3. Paste your license key. Go to the Activation screen and paste the key from your purchase email.
  4. Click Verify & Activate License.

Step 2

Get a free Google Gemini key

  1. Open aistudio.google.com/apikey and sign in with your Google account.
  2. Click Create API key. Accept Google's terms if asked, and pick any project or let it create one. A new account may already show a key: you can use that one.
  3. Copy the key. Treat it like a password: don't share it or post it anywhere.

No card needed: Google's free tier needs no billing setup.

Step 3

Add the key and run your first video

  1. Paste the key. After activation, Script Pro opens a short setup guide: choose Start free with Google Gemini (2 minutes) and paste your key there. Closed the guide? Open it again in Settings (Setup guide: free Google Gemini key), or paste the key in API & Models, in the Google Gemini API Key field.
  2. Click Test key. Script Pro checks the key with Google and saves it when it works. If something is wrong, it tells you what in plain words.
  3. Choose the Free engine. On the dashboard, pick 100% Free (Free Mode). The setup guide selects it for you.
  4. Run your first video. Start with a Shorts video: choose Shorts / Reels, paste a YouTube link, a transcript or your own script (or just a topic on Elite) and click Execute Production Pipeline. In the setup guide, Run a sample (Shorts, about 2 minutes) does this for you; it uses 1 of your runs.

Want top quality? Add Claude

  • Ultra Premium (Elite plan) writes with Claude, using your own Claude key from platform.claude.com.
  • Channels with a second language also need a DeepSeek key from platform.deepseek.com for the translation.
  • Add them any time in API & Models and click Test key. Both providers bill you directly, at their prices, and need credit on your account with them.

Questions

Is the Gemini key free?

Yes. New Google AI Studio accounts start on Google's free tier, which needs no billing setup. It covers certain Gemini models up to Google's free-tier limits; when those are used up, Script Pro tells you to wait or switch engines. Google requires you to be 18 or older and in a supported country. On the free tier Google may use what you send to improve its products, except in the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland (Google's terms).

Which engine should I pick?

Start with 100% Free (Free Mode): it needs only the free Gemini key and works on every plan. Google's free tier is sometimes busy, so a Free run can take longer or need a second try. Standard Pro uses your own OpenAI key (every plan) and Ultra Premium uses your own Claude key (Elite plan); both also need a DeepSeek key when your channel has a second language. You choose the engine for each run.

My key doesn't work

Click Test key: Script Pro tells you what is wrong. The usual causes:

  • Part of the key is missing. Copy the whole key again with Google's copy button and paste it in the Google Gemini field.
  • It's in the wrong field. A Gemini key goes in the Google Gemini field, a Claude key in the Claude field.
  • It's an old key. Create a new one at aistudio.google.com/apikey.
  • Google's free tier is busy. Your key works; wait a minute and run again.
  • Gemini isn't available in your country. Use Standard Pro or Ultra Premium instead.
  • No credit on a paid key. Claude, OpenAI and DeepSeek keys only work with credit on your account with them.
